Santa Cruz Trek 11

Hike through the very heart of the Cordillera, where Peru’s
highest mountains soar thousands of feet above. The Santa
Cruz trek works its way over 2 high passes catching stunning
views of Huascaran, Chopiqualqui and the Huandoys, then on past two
glacial lakes in the Ulta valley.

Huayhuash Trek

The remote Huayhuash range offers hikers an incredible opportunity
to slip away from civilization for 13 days and be continually
surrounded by unforgettable views of pure mountain splendor.
The Huayhuash is the most physically demanding trek we offer with
over 120 kilometers on foot, circumnavigating the entire range.

Alpamayo Trek

This challenging and "less traveled" path winds it's way from the ruins of Hualycayan to the distant town of Pomabamba, taking you from the western slopes of the Peruvian Andes, all the way across and down their other side. Impressive views abound, and a visit to Alpamayo, "the Most Beautiful Mountain in the World" will send you home wondering if your fairytale vacation was real!

Chavin Trek 9 days- Easy to Moderate Difficulty - $975

Follow one of the original pre-Inca trail-ways from one side of the cordillera to the other. This ancient trail takes you past tiny mud huts where the sturdy mountain dwellers still live, over a high mountain pass, and back down to the historic temples of Chavin. In keeping with the historical significance of the trail we use the original pack animal of the Andes; the llama, to carry our food and equipment.

the striking image of Alpamayo has graced countless calendars and
book covers, drawing climbers from all over the world.
The climb itself offers some exciting technical challenges,
as does the neighboring mountain, Quitaraju. If you wish
to climb these peaks but lack previous experience, contact

Artisonraju's pyramid summit towers high above the Paron Valley, situated in a cirque of steep and snowy peaks, many of which are considered the areas more difficult summit endeavors. A two day approach to high camp, located on the Paron glacier, sets your climbing team close to the rise of Artison's 600 meter face. The climb is a constant 60-70 degree snow and ice ascent, providing challenges in both endurance and technical skill.

Alquilpo trek with Summit Climb of Ishinca.

This“off the beaten path,” trek takes you up the seldom traveled Alquilpo valley, at the head of which nestles a spectacularly colored glacier lake. Camp at the waters edge before pressing over the pass and down into the base camp of Ishinca. Top off the trip with a summit climb of Ishinca before descending back down to the town of Huaraz.

Classic Santa Cruz Trek with Mountaineering Course and Summit Climb of Yanapaqcha 5460 m / Chopicalqui 6354m.

This trip has a bit of everything, taking participants on the classic 4 day Santa Cruz Trek as both an adventure and acclimitization activity for the climbs that follow. A three day mountaineering skills course on Yanapaqcha comes next, teaching the basics of safe and responsible high altitude mountaineering, followed by a summit climb on the same peak. The culmination experience is a summit attempt on nearby Chopicalqui, a 6000 + meter peak with one of the most spectacular summit ridges in the entire range!
